Who applies for the grant, me or the installer?
Your MCS certified installer applies on your behalf and takes the grant off your quote. You do not claim it back yourself.
Is the Boiler Upgrade Scheme ending?
No. It was extended to 2030 in April 2026, with a budget of £2,392 million across 2026/27 to 2029/30, supporting the UK government ambition of over 450,000 heat pump installations a year by 2030.
